Nuun is a refreshing, portable, electrolyte replacement system with a light lemon/lime taste containing sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium. reviewed in the May triathlete magazine and already popular amoung triathletes, ultra-runners and adventure races, here's your chance to order some and give it a test ride, literally.The flavour is a light lemon/lime and each tube has 16 tabs (1 gallon/4 litres) Nuun comes in a tough tube that is water resistant and perfect for carrying in your hand, bikejersey, pack…whereever. 1 tube = 4 litres (1 gallon), enough for a good ride or a week at the gym. And if you travel, forget trying to find your normal drink or suffering the indignity of bags of powder bursting in your luggage, a couple of tubes in your bags will get there in one piece and get you through the week of training in Colorado or the Pyrenees.We spent years researching the levels of electrolytes needed for the product to be absorbed quickest and provide the optimal salt balance to prevent cramping and maximise hydration. An editor of a major triathlon publication used it and had “no cramping issues for the first time ever in an Ironman”. Designed for the active palate, nuuns got a light lemon/lime flavour thats not overwhelming when youre on the go. If youve ever watered down sports drinks because they are too strong then youve made them less easy to absorb which defeats the purpose of using them. some call the nuun taste tart and thats probably the best description weve found yet other than just right! A bottle of water, 1 nuun per 250ml (8.5oz) … doesnt matter where you are, how windy it is, how much space youve got drop in nuun and youre good to go.
